BSS Reworked Hive Color Tier List

Hive color in BSS Reworked is a rebirth plan, not a wallpaper. Original Bee Swarm Simulator already taught red, blue, and white. This fangame adds honey resets, so the color that refills a bag after a rebirth is the color that wins. Early mixed is allowed. Midgame you pick one. Late you stop shopping for the other two. Bee ranks sit on the bee tier list. Loadouts sit on red hive, blue hive, and white hive. Gear that has to match the color sits on the tools list.

Servers hold six players. You do not get a private mountain. The color that farms while other people strip a field is the color you should respect on a 22 August 2026 clone with Rebirth 15 and Max Rebirth badges.

Why color beats mixed

Pollen is red, blue, or white. Bees have a color. Fields have a color. A mixed hive on a mixed-friendly patch (clover, pineapple, pumpkin) is a beginner tax you accept. A mixed hive on pepper or stump is a donation. Once two or three bees scream a color, every royal jelly that ignores that color delays rebirth.

Color also decides the endgame tool: Dark Scythe for red, Tide Popper for blue, Petal Wand for white. Buying the wrong one because it looked cool is how people stall Metthiology Points.

S tier for rebirth pace

Blue is S for honey-after-reset. Tadpole Bee, Buoyant Bee, bubbles, and balloons convert while you walk back to the hive. That matters more here than in original BSS, because a rebirth typically wipes current honey. The first bags after the button are the whole test. Blue’s convert engine wins that test if the hive actually has Tadpole / Buoyant / Bubble instead of a row of Cool Bees and hope.

Blue fields: blue flower, bamboo, pine tree, stump. Stay on pine when you can survive it. Stump is a loot and playtime flex, not a day-two rebirth farm. Full route: blue hive.

If this clone shipped balloons the way original BSS did, treat every balloon as convert you already paid for. Popping them for fun in the shop is the same mistake as popping a code boost in the menu.

A tier lanes

Red is A, and it can beat blue during a real boost window. Precise Bee, Spicy Bee, Rage Bee, and Demo Bee turn pepper, rose, mushroom, and strawberry into burst pollen. Flames and marks want you to stand still and swing. That is worse for idle convert, better for honey sessions where you actually pop extracts and stay in the flowers. If you like combat and Vicious as an enemy, red’s attack bees are the least embarrassing hive in a six-player server.

White is also A, slightly slower at early rebirth honey, stronger at goo, bombs, and item play. Vector Bee, Gummy Bee, Carpenter marks, and fuzz/bomb tokens want dandelion, pumpkin, coconut, and spider. White often needs the bag and the mask to agree (Gummy Mask, Coconut Canister, Petal Wand) before it feels as fast as blue balloons. If you came for Super Smoothie style windows, white is the lane; if you came only to mash Rebirth 15 this week, blue is simpler.

Neither A-tier color is a trap. The trap is running all three at once.

Early mixed is allowed

Until legendary bees show up, keep anything that gathers or converts. Do not royal jelly a decent Bubble Bee because a YouTube red guide told you to. Do not buy a color mask on day one. Follow getting started and farm mixed-friendly fields. Mixed is a phase, not a personality.

Leave mixed when:

1. You own two color mythics or a pile of same-color legendaries.
2. You are buying a mask, guard, or color tool.
3. You are spending Metthiology Points that name a pollen color.

If none of those are true, stay mixed and push honey. Color identity is cheaper after a few rebirths than before your first bag upgrade.

Midgame: pick and commit

Pick with the bees you already have, not with a screenshot. Three Precise / Spicy / Rage / Demo bees is red. Tadpole or a bubble-and-balloon pile is blue. Vector / Gummy / bomb density is white. If the hive is still a tie, pick blue for rebirth pace or red if you already live on mushroom and strawberry.

Commit means:

• Jelly toward that color’s S and A bees on the bee list.
• Stand on that color’s fields in honey farming.
• Buy that color’s tool and mask from the tools list.
• Spend tree points on that color.
• Stop rolling the opposite mythic “for the collection.”

A red scythe on a blue hive is a souvenir. A Diamond Mask on a red hive fights your own pollen. The player pages exist so you do not remix this paragraph every night.

Gear must match the bees

Tool, bag, mask, boots, belt, and guards are color votes. Porcelain-style all-rounders are the honest midgame. Color tools are a lock. If you cannot afford the lock, do not buy the wrong scythe “because it looks cool.” Petal Magnet and Permanent Wealth Clock change loot and honey over time; they do not pick a color for you.

Amulets should reroll toward your color’s pollen, convert, and crit. Locking a blue-heavy star amulet on a red account because the attack number looked big is how people miss Max Rebirth.

Rebirths versus swapping color

Swap color when you finally own the mythic that defines the other hive and you are willing to rebuild. Do not swap because a thumbnail said white is back. Confirm the bee exists in this fangame, rebuild using hive building, then farm a honey window before you judge it.

After a rebirth, go straight to the field that matches the hive. The first bag is the color test. If that bag feels dead, you picked the wrong flowers, not the wrong badge. Rebirth 15, Max Rebirth, and 10 Metthiology Points all assume you can refill honey on purpose. Color is how you do that on a six-player server without waiting for a perfect boost every time.
