Getting Started in BSS Reworked

BSS Reworked drops you into a six-player Roblox server with a field of flowers and a wall of honeycomb. Your first job is not a mythic bee. It is a claimed hive, a tool that gathers faster than punching flowers, and a bag that does not overflow every thirty seconds. This page is that first hour. The game is a fangame of Bee Swarm Simulator. Names you already know (pollen, gifted, royal jelly, Port-O-Hive) still matter. Names that are new (rebirths, Metthiology Tree, Permanent Wealth Clock) can wait until you can fill a bag on purpose.

Claim a hive before you wander

Walk along the honeycomb wall until you find an unowned slot. Claim it. If every slot is taken, rejoin. Public servers only hold six players, so an empty hive is usually one teleport away. Do not start collecting on a field without a hive: convert speed and storage are tied to that slot.

Once claimed, look at your bees. A new account starts with Basic Bee energy. That is enough to learn the convert button and the nearest sunflower or dandelion field. It is not enough to skip honey farming.

Redeem RELEASE immediately

Open settings and paste RELEASE using how to redeem. It is the code printed on the official thumbnail. Then skim active codes for anything else still marked Active or Test. Do this before you spend starter honey. A field boost you pop after buying the wrong bag is a wasted boost.

If a code fails, do not restart the account. Continue the buy order below and retry later from a new server.

First-hour buy order

Spend honey in this order unless a code dumped a huge pile into your pocket:

1. Tool — upgrade off the starter scooper as soon as the next collector is on sale. Time in the field is your only income.
2. Bag — a bigger tank means fewer convert trips. Convert trips are when you get killed by beetles or lose a boost.
3. Hive slots — empty slots do nothing. Buy the next slot when you have an egg or jelly waiting, not before.
4. Eggs / royal jelly — roll after the slot exists. Keep bees that match a color you might actually play. Read the bee tier list before you lock a Demon Bee you will delete in two hours.
5. Belt / boots / mask — cheap early pieces are fine. Do not save for endgame porcelain on day one.

Stop shopping when the next item costs more than about fifteen minutes of farming. Go farm. The tools tier list is the expanded version of this list once you leave the first shops.

Fields you should actually stand in

Stay on low fields (sunflower, dandelion, mushroom, blue flower, clover) until your bag and tool feel comfortable. Spider and strawberry can wait. If a Vicious Bee or beetle is deleting you, you are not “learning combat”; you are losing convert time. Come back with more attack bees from the hive building page.

Sprinklers go on the field you will stay in for the full duration. Placing one, then walking away to look at gamepasses, is how beginners think the game is slow.

What to ignore for the first hour

• Gamepasses. Permanent Wealth Clock, Petal Magnet, x2 Item Loot, and the rest are optional. The wiki will mention them where they change a route. They are not required to finish this page.
• Rebirth 1. You will not hit Rebirth 15 today. Do not stall a tool purchase to stare at the rebirth menu.
• Color hive identity. You can decide red, blue, or white tomorrow after how to play. Today, keep any decent bee.
• Scripts. If you came here for a farm bot, finish one manual session so you know what “good” looks like, then read the scripts hub.
• Trading. Do not trust random players in a six-person server with your only event egg.

If you already played BSS 1:1

Stop rerolling. Read data transfer and ask the community to restore rebirths and hive before you spend a night rebuilding. The official description promises that path if you can show proof. Bring screenshots, not a speech.

You should have a claimed hive, RELEASE redeemed, a better tool and bag than spawn, and a sense of how long a convert takes.
