A blue hive in BSS Reworked is a convert engine with a gather coat. Bubbles pop, balloons fill, frogs splash, and you walk back to the honeycomb with honey already ticking. That is why blue sits S on the hive color list for rebirth pace. Red wants you to stand in fire. White wants goo. Blue wants you to leave a balloon behind and not pop it for fun in the shop. What a blue hive is for
Blue is for the player who will hit Rebirth 15 by refilling honey on purpose after every reset. Balloons are convert you already paid for. If this clone copied original Bee Swarm balloon rules, treat every balloon as a second bag. Popping them at 10% because the number looked pretty is the blue version of wasting a code boost.
Blue is also the color that forgives a slightly slow collector, because bubbles and tadpoles keep working while you walk. It does not forgive a hive with no blue bees standing on pepper. Color matching is not optional just because balloons feel magic.
Tadpole, Buoyant, bubbles, and balloons
Tadpole Bee is the mythic. Frogs, bubble chains, summons that keep a field wet. Gifted Tadpole is a star-treat job right after Event keepers (Tabby, Digital, Gummy if you somehow have it on blue). One Tadpole is a start. A hive of Tadpoles with zero convert support is still better than a hive of Cool Bees, but Music and Baby still belong.
Buoyant Bee is the other blue mythic. Balloons. Rebirth pace loves Buoyant more than any red bee, because the honey keeps converting while you path. Gifted Buoyant before gifted Frosty.
Bubble Bee is the namesake epic. Keep it. Bucko Bee is the blue commander. Cool Bee and Frosty Bee paint blue pollen. Diamond Bee converts; gifted Diamond is a convert engine you actually feel. Ninja Bee is haste plus blue. Cobalt Bee is the blue twin of Crimson; it stays on blue, not on red.
Off-color keepers: Music, Baby, Tabby, Digital. Photon can live if you have no better gather yet; replace it when Tadpole density is real. Precise Bee on blue is a tourist. Spicy Bee on blue is a sauna on the wrong field.
Jelly away: Riley, Fire, Rage piles that fight your bubbles, Basic Bee, duplicate ungifted rares that are red. Demo can stay as a bomb if you have no Carpenter and you still fight spiders on the way to pine; it is not a blue identity piece.
Pine tree, bamboo, blue flower, stump
- Blue flower — the tutorial blue patch. Use it until the bag is real, then leave.
- Bamboo — more blue pollen, still low. Fine mid if pine is crowded in a six-player server.
- Pine tree — the blue home. Height, werewolves, the field you should learn to survive. This is where balloons and frogs pay rent.
- Stump — the blue flex field in original BSS. Loot, playtime, and a boss attitude. Leave stump until frogs and balloons already work on pine. A Tide Popper does not save a hive that never converts.
Do not live on rose or pepper “because it is empty.” Empty red is still a tax. Coconut and spider are white problems. Clover is mixed-friendly only while you still have red bees to retire.
Vicious Bee as an enemy still deletes bags on the walk to pine. Bring Brave / attack or take a safer path. The -50% Monster Respawn pass is for farmers who want more fights, not for a hive that already dies to werewolves.
Tide Popper and Bubble Mask
Tide Popper is the blue collector. Buy it after the hive is blue. Porcelain Dipper is the honest wait. Bubble Mask is the blue mask. Diamond Mask is the convert mask that also loves blue; if the clone only gives you one late mask slot, prefer the one that matches bubbles unless convert is a disaster. Blue guards both sides. Blue extract, oil, glue, foam (if enabled) are the window. Order:
- Convert or send a balloon so the bag is not already full.
- Walk to pine (or bamboo if pine is stripped).
- Sprinklers.
- Extracts / winds you own.
- Stay in bubbles. Do not pop every balloon the second it spawns unless capacity is already overflowing.
- Convert at the hive. Let remaining balloons finish.
Petal Magnet helps token pickup in a busy pine. x1.5 Bee Ability Rate makes Tadpole and Buoyant tokens more often. Neither pass is the tool.
Support and gifted
Gifted order for blue: Event keepers, Tadpole, Buoyant, Diamond, Bucko / Bubble, Music, Baby. Do not gifted a Cool Bee you will jelly when Tadpole lands.
Haste matters on the walk from pine to hive until boots exist. Melody and Baby Love still multiply the tokens that make balloons. A blue hive with zero support tokens is a row of gather stats and a sad convert pad.
Convert while you walk
This is the rebirth trick. After you press the button, honey is gone. The first balloons you seed on pine are how you learn whether blue was the right pick. Codes such as RELEASE that grant a blue field wind should land on blue flower, bamboo, or pine — not on mushroom. If you are still mixed, a blue wind is a hint to commit tonight, not a reason to stand on sunflower.
When to switch off blue
Switch to red if Precise / Spicy showed up and you actually enjoy boost windows more than balloons. Switch to white if Vector / Gummy arrived and you want goo. Stay blue if your mythics are Tadpole / Buoyant even when a thumbnail says red is back. Confirm the bee exists in this fangame first.
Leave stump until frogs and balloons already work on pine. A Tide Popper does not save a hive that never converts.
