BSS Reworked Tier Lists

Bees, hive colors, and tools ranked for this fangame — not for a 2024 Beesmas screenshot.

Tier List Hub

This hub is the ranking layer of the BSS Reworked wiki. Honey is finite, royal jelly is a gamble, and a six-player server will not wait while you stare at a mythic you cannot use. We split ranks into three lists so a gifted Precise Bee does not get compared to a porcelain dipper as if they were the same item.

Use the lists to spend, not to flex. If a rank and your bag disagree, the bag wins until the next honey session actually moves.

What we rank, and what we do not

  • Bees — which species deserve jelly, gifted treats, and a honeycomb slot. Event bees, mythics, and supports are scored for this place, not for every Bee Swarm clone.
  • Hive colors — red, blue, and white as progression routes. A color can be S-tier for rebirth farming and A-tier for late fields. That split lives on the hive color list.
  • Tools — collectors, bags, masks, and the buy order that stops you swinging a scooper on pepper patch. See tools.

We do not rank gamepasses as “required.” Permanent Wealth Clock, Petal Magnet, and Permanent TL are Robux shortcuts. They change comfort, not the bee that belongs in a slot. Passes are listed on gamepasses.

SSA (Supreme Star Amulet) is a multiplier on a color you already chose. It is not a tier of its own. Roll it toward the pollen and convert of the hive on the players hub.

Bees — jelly with a job

Open the bee tier list when you are about to smash royal jelly or feed a star treat. The list cares about three jobs: gather, convert, support. A mythic that fails all three on your color is ranked as a skip even if the portrait looks rare. Gifted is a multiplier, not a free S. Basic Bee is a placeholder. Tabby, Digital, Gummy, Vicious, Photon, and Windy-style event bees are judged on whether this fangame actually spawned them, not on original BSS nostalgia.

If a bee is S on blue and C on red, that is intentional. Read the color tag, then the matching hive building rules before you lock the slot.

Hive colors — three playstyles, not three paints

The hive color tier list is the short version of the players hub. Blue usually wins the “first dedicated hive” rank because balloons and convert print rebirth materials. Red wins the “I am at the keyboard” rank. White wins when SSA, porcelain-line tools, and late fields are online. Early mixed is a temporary rank, not a build you keep after Rebirth 15.

Loadouts with slot counts sit on red hive, blue hive, and white hive. This hub will not duplicate those tables. It only tells you which table to open.

Tools — buy order beats rarity

The tools tier list is a spend order: collector, bag, then color mask and guards. A “legendary” tool that fights your pollen color is ranked below an all-rounder you can afford this hour. Port-O-Hive style bags still matter because convert trips are when vicious bee and beetles delete you. If a rank says “skip until rebirth,” skip. Honey spent on a scythe you cannot drive is honey not spent on a hive slot.

How to use a rank without wrecking the hive

  1. Pick the list that matches the shop you are standing in — bees, color, or gear.
  2. Confirm the bee or tool exists after the latest changelog. Fangames drop and rename items.
  3. Cross-check the color page on players so you do not gifted an off-color legendary “because it is A-tier.”
  4. Spend, then farm. Ranks do not replace a honey window.

Ranks move when a patch shifts a mythic or a tool. After you read a list, open the matching hive color page and spend the honey you already have, not the honey a screenshot pretends you own.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for BSS Reworked on Roblox.

Which tier list should I open first?

The bee list if you are holding royal jelly. The hive color list if you have not picked red, blue, or white. The tools list if the next purchase is a collector or bag.

Why is a mythic not always S-tier?

Mythic is a rarity, not a job. Precise on blue or Tadpole on red is a tourist. Color rules are on hive building and the players hub.

Do these ranks copy original Bee Swarm Simulator?

They start from the same systems (pollen colors, gifted, SSA) and then get checked against this fangame. If a bee never spawned here, it cannot be S. Watch the changelog.

Should I reroll my hive every time a rank changes?

No. Rebuild when you change color, when you finally own the mythic that defines that color, or after a patch that nerfs your engine. Slot plans live on the players color pages.

Are gamepasses part of the tier list?

No. They are optional Robux. Rank bees and tools as if you own none, then read gamepasses if you still want QoL.
