Expired BSS Reworked Codes

Dead codes waste more time than they save. This page exists so you do not sit in BSS Reworked settings pasting Bee Swarm anniversary strings that were never wired up on this place. If a code is still good, it lives on the active codes hub. If you do not know how to open the box, use how to redeem.

BSS Reworked launched on 22 August 2026 as a fangame. It does not automatically inherit every historical Bee Swarm Simulator code from 2018–2026. Some clones copy the whole table; some only ship a launch string. We currently treat RELEASE as the launch string. Everything below is either confirmed dead, never enabled, or so old that retrying it is noise.

Do not bother (classic Bee Swarm leftovers)

These strings are famous on the original game and on other fangames. They are listed here so you can skip them when they fail in BSS Reworked. If one suddenly works after a Huge Update, it will move back to active codes. Until then, assume dead.

Pasting these is harmless. It is also a waste of a session if you could have been on a honey field instead.

How we mark a code dead

A string becomes expired when:

1. The in-game box returns an invalid / expired message on a fresh account.
2. The developer shout or changelog says it was removed.
3. It clearly belongs to another place (original Bee Swarm, BSS 1:1 Rebirths, BSS Modded) and has failed here.

We do not mark a code dead just because one player already redeemed it. Unique codes fail for that player and still work for you. That is why how to redeem tells you to test on an account that never played.

False friends from BSS 1:1

Data transfer can restore a hive from BSS 1:1. It does not mean every BSS 1:1 code is live. ShadowedFinally and 700Members stay on the test list until we can say they consistently pay out. If they fail for you, they belong here. Do not open a restore ticket because a code failed; restores are for rebirth count and hive layout, not promo flags.

What to do instead of hunting dead codes

• Farm the next bag with a real tool upgrade.
• Stick to one hive color so pollen multipliers stack.
• Spend tickets using the bee tier list, not nostalgia for an original event bee you saw on YouTube.
• If you want automation, use the scripts hub after you finish a manual redeem of RELEASE.
• Track rebirths with the rebirth tracker notes so a dead code does not become your only plan for the next badge.

Reporting a newly dead or newly live code

If RELEASE stops working, this page will say so in the next pass and the codes hub will drop it. If a “dead” string starts working after a patch, it goes back to Active. The updates hub is the other place we mention code drops, because developers like to hide them in patch text instead of a billboard.

Until then, keep your settings panel for live strings only. The fastest players in a six-person server are not the ones with the longest expired list. They are the ones who redeemed RELEASE, followed how to play, and stopped typing 2019 Bee Swarm codes into a 2026 fangame.
